I was nervous about the size of the watch but after trying it on, I’m happy I ordered it. It’s a beautiful watch, particularly at the price I paid ($60). This is a great watch if you want to attempt out a big faced watch, as it isn’t as thick as many of the other Invictas, but still remarkable. My only problem is that my kids have now hidden the watch, and will make me wait til xmas before I can wear it.

The watch is stylish and well built. I get compliments on it whenever I wear it so far. One friend liked it so much that I bought a second one (not on sale by that time, but still at a good price) and gave it to him as a Christmas gift. If you want a hard, nicely styled watch without breaking the bank, this Invicta could be a great choice. One note: Many of the Invicta watches have really big faces. That is great for big guys, but this specific watch face, while big, is scaled to look good on a normal sized guy’s wrist.

By rockatanski See all my reviews () This review is from: Bulova Men’s 98A112 auto Mechanical Black Pearl Dial Strap Watch (Watch) I looked for an cheap, auto, skeleton watch that could be useable for smalltime dressy instances (I work in an office.The beat up 10+ year old Swiss army watch, though running just good, looked about due for an update.). I have browsed many, researched many, and came across this watch.It looked right up my street. Kind of hard to find reviews or pictures of it other than what was posted on here, but I took a chance and ordered it. I have owned it for some weeks now.

Packaging is pretty basic, but.Are you wearing the packaging? Most likely not. The watch itself looks better than in the pictures.The crystal has a curve to it, interesting patterning on the band, you may be able to see all the way through the motion. It is a synthetic jewel Miyota motion from my understanding. The hard part of the face have an engine turning moire type pattern on it. Pics on here seem to point to silver hands, which could be hard to see against the silver of the skeleton motion, but the one that I got had black hands with white inserts not too hard to tell the time at a glance, in spite of the business of the face. No date, but I knew that before I bought it.

You can not “hack” the motion while setting time the second hand keeps moving, with the crown pulled out to set the time. No big deal if you want a cheap, correct watch, purchase a battery operated quartz watch. If you want something interesting, look at this. Accuracy looks ok for me auto mechanical watches in this price range are not going to be as correct as a quartz. Alike for “standby time” I can leave it unworn/unmoved for a day or two and it still maintains the time, but after 3 4 it stops. Again, no biggie for me.

The meat of the watch is more bulky than what I am used to, but a) it is kinda the style now, and b) it feels alright and does not look strange, on my admittedly skinny wrist. My only gripe could be the band it looks to be constructed of an outer level over a thicker, sort of padded inner level, which, when cinching down on a smaller hole, looks to kind of permanently crease after awhile. This happened on every non metal banded watch that I have worn though, so its not really a surprise.And though this comes in a metal band variant, I liked the leather band better, just for a change of rate.

By Seattlite See all my reviews () This review is from: Bulova Men’s 98A112 auto Mechanical Black Pearl Dial Strap Watch (Watch) From someone who worked in a clock shop, this is really a great deal for a beautiful timepiece! With a great domed crystal, an unobtrusive sweep second hand, and the full skeletal look, I’m pleased with the buy. The look is comparatively dressy and prominent (it is big, and it’s obvious to a informal observer), but I feel comfy wearing it to client meetings or out hiking. That said, my personal experience is that domed crystals are easier to mark up I could be caution any customer looking at this to treat that part of it with care, though the rest of the case looks very lasting.

As other reviewers aptly noted, this isn’t a small watch. I’m accustomed to the bigger feel on my wrist from last timepieces, but I was a little surprised when I put this on for the 1st time. That said, it’s comfy, and does not slide around or feel overly bulky where I wear my watches just above the wrist on my forearm. Thanks to the titanium, this is really a little lighter than I could have projected, which is a perk considering the size.

The band is comparatively thick also, and starts out a little inflexible (as expected) till worn a couple of times. It’s hard to use the smaller sizing at 1st (my wrist is rather thin), but quickly forms to fit well.

Obviously, do not purchase this if you are looking for the complete accuracy of a quartz system, but it is worth every penny any more with a sale price under $300. I expect to be happy with it for many years to come.

(REAL NAME) () This review is from: Bulova Men’s 98A112 auto Mechanical Black Pearl Dial Strap Watch (Watch) I looked for a classy still sporty skeleton watch for quite many time now and when I found this on on for under $300 I could not pass it up.

After a week of having the watch it appeared to gained many time, so I reset the time and paid attention to the accuracy over the next not many days. After another week had gone by the watch had gained three extra minutes. This is quite disappointing for a watch with a $600 MSRP.

Pros: Great looks, great price.

Cons: No Date, runs fast.

I sent mine back for refund. May buy again, may find something different.

The Victorinox Swiss Army Men’s Chrono Classic XLS Watch #241213 offers a sophisticated look with true chronograph multifunctionality, by offering a four hand design with three subdials. You get a bold tachymeter scale on the watch’s black stainless steel bezel, split timing, and precision all the way down to tenths of a second, also to 60 second and 30 minute counters with chrono subdials. Other features are a crisp white dial, luminous hour and minute hands, Arabic numeral indexes, and a convenient date window at six o’clock. The Classic Chrono’s 45 millimeter case and bracelet band are both crafted from stainless steel. The case will include a screw in caseback, while the band is held in place by a push button deployment clasp. A scratch resistant sapphire crystal with an anti reflective finish guards the watch face and helps ensure easy reference. And, of course, this Victorinox Swiss Army watch is powered by Swiss quartz motion. The watch is water tolerant to 330 feet (100 meters).

I was disappointed by this because the watch is a gift, and the case that was really sent to me, wasn’t nice at all. It had a a cheap spongey filling, nothing like the one in the photo.

BUT one thing Im kinda dissapointed about is that the box in the pictures is a lie! The box where it came is terrible, I bought it from amazon, and though the box is not that vital beacause what you want is the watch, shouldn’t be posting pictures of something they aren’t gonna sell, the box from the pictures is a lie!
