This slender, stylish baguette style watch from Movado's Esperanza series features a classic Museum dial and a beautiful silver tone open link bracelet. The black rectangular dial has slender silver tone hands and a small dot marker and Movado logo at the 12 o'clock position. This the minimalist look made famous for Movado by American designer Nathan George Horwitt in 1947. Horwitt meant his design to be evocative of a sun dial, with the dot representing the sun at high noon. The dial is framed by a silver tone stainless steel bezel that integrates seamlessly into the open link bracelet style band. The band graduates to a woven link pattern toward the back and fastens with a jewelry clasp. The case and bracelet measure a uniform 14 mm in width. Other notable features of this watch include exact Swiss quartz motion and a greatly scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 30 meters, it can withstand splashes and brief immersion in water, but, it isn't sufficiently tolerant for swimming.
