Sixteen diamonds frame a white pearlized dial in this stylish dress chronograph from Bulova. The perfectly round dial features luminous hands and markers, a stainless steel seconds hand, and a date window at the four o'clock hour. Three subdials display small seconds, minutes to sixty, and 24 hour time. This watch is set in a stainless steel case and presents on an nice steel link bracelet that fastens with a deployment clasp. This Bulova watch offers exact Japanese quartz motion and is rated water tolerant to 30 meters.
About Bulova
In 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova has been trained as a jeweler, and his specialty carried over into his watchmaking career, which began around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the new and most fashionable technological innovations: the wristwatch. Bulova presented its 1st line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and TV ads were decla[4~ring, "America runs on Bulova time." In the 1950s, continuing its legacy of novelty, Bulova presented Accutron, the 1st electronic watch, and the 1st breakthrough in timekeeping technology in over 300 years. The Accutron timing system was afterward adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have also served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams. Today, Bulova maintains its tradition of excellence in technology and design, offering a diverse group of beautiful precision timepieces for each occasion.
